About Kenya Community in Korea

A community organization by and for Kenyans living in South Korea

SOTE PAMOJA · All Together

We Are a Community Liaison, Not The Embassy

The Kenya Community in Korea (KCK) is a community-led organization — we are not the Kenyan Embassy, but we work to help you access embassy services more easily.

Through our Embassy Services Liaison, community members can submit service requests (passport applications, renewals, notarization, and more) through our platform. Our trained KCK officers review each request, help members prepare correct documentation, and coordinate with the Embassy of the Republic of Kenya in Seoul on behalf of the member.

The embassy remains the sole issuer of all official Kenyan government documents. KCK facilitates and coordinates — we do not issue passports, visas, or IDs ourselves. Learn How the Liaison Service Works →

Who We Are

KCK is a community platform that connects, supports, and celebrates Kenyans living, studying, and working in South Korea.

Our community brings together students, professionals, workers, tourists, and long-term residents who share a common heritage and the shared experience of building lives in Korea. Whether you just arrived or have been here for years, KCK is here to help you stay connected to home and find support in your new home.

What We Do

  • Community Events — cultural celebrations, networking gatherings, sports, Swahili classes
  • Welfare Support — assistance during emergencies, condolence messages, peer support
  • Official Communications — community letters, announcements, news from community leadership
  • Certificates & Recognition — certificates of appreciation, participation, and leadership for community members
  • Community Directory — a verified network of Kenyans across Korean cities
  • Information Hub — general guidance on visas, life in Korea, and cultural integration

Our Mission

To connect, serve, and support the Kenyan community in South Korea while promoting Kenyan culture and fostering goodwill between our two nations.

Our Vision

A thriving, well-connected Kenyan diaspora community in Korea that celebrates our heritage, supports one another, and contributes positively to both Kenya and Korea.

For Embassy Services

Passport, visa, and other official consular services are handled by the Embassy of the Republic of Kenya in Seoul, not by KCK.
